Hi, I’m Sophie–a food enthusiast with an appreciation for curated home spaces and decor with over 15 years of industry experience. I’ve worked in the cheese industry, for accessory and homeware brands, and as a food and product stylist. My husband, dog, and I moved to Sacramento in 2017 looking for community and a slower pace of life. In 2021, my son was born, and we have loved building our family and extending our roots in Sacramento.

In 2025 I finally realized my life-long dream of opening up my own shop. Superette Market is a culmination of all my personal and professional food and hosting experiences–from growing up with a family that loves to cook and entertain (ask me to tell you about our infamous schnickles hour), to working professionally in the food and consumer product industries.

I love helping people to create and celebrate milestones, find new ways to keep gatherings fresh without a lot of extra effort, and take modern twists on classic comfort foods. I am so excited to meet you!
